(August 13, 2024)Sophia Lanting, CFP®, Founding Partner and Wealth Advisor at Intrinsic Financial Design Group, a member of Commonwealth Financial Network, recently was awarded the CFP® certification. Ms. Lanting earned the certification after extensive study and successfully completing the CFP® Board’s Education Requirement.

The CFP® certification is respected among financial services firms, financial professionals, and the public. It is recognized as the standard of excellence for competency and ethics in personal financial planning. This milestone represents the latest in Ms. Lanting’s ongoing commitment to delivering quality guidance her clients deserve.

A veteran of 17 years in the financial Services industry, Sophia Lanting has demonstrated her unwavering focus on helping clients find ways to achieve financial success. Lanting is a Greeley native and alumna of Greeley Central High School (2002) and the University of Northern Colorado (B.S., 2005). She entered the financial services industry in 2007 alongside her father, Steve Waechter, continuing the legacy of his established practice after taking over managing the team in 2017.

The CFP® marks identify those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of CFP Board, including having successfully completed financial planning coursework at an accredited college or university and passed the 6-hour comprehensive CFP® certification exam.
